Thoughtful Housewarming Gifts

We've all been there before. Rushing around at the last minute in an attempt to put together a housewarming gift. They can be the trickiest gifts to buy! There typically aren't registries to go off of and you may not have seen the person's home before so you don't know their color schemes or decor style. Well, we've clearly been there before so here are a few thoughtful gift ideas that you can put together so you'll never have to walk in empty-handed. New Hive What better way to congratulate your hosts on their new home than with a sweet bottle of lovely honey? Bonus points if you buy a local honey from your neck of the woods! Include a honey dipper, slip in a note (stamped with our new bumble bee stamp !), and package it up in a muslin bag. Lemons We are absolutely crazy about Central Market's lemon infused extra virgin olive oil so of course we centered our next gift around it! Instead of just giving the bottle (which, we'd definitely still be happy with!) take the theme to the next level by sitting the olive oil in a basket atop a bed of lemons. Adding in your favorite brand of dishtowels is also a nice gesture since good ones are often tricky to find! Don't forget to add a tag to the basket! Here, we used our new herb stamp and wrote a quick message.

Flowers While flowers are probably one of the more common housewarming gifts, we had to take it up a notch! Instead of presenting the flowers in the plastic they come in or in a vase, package them nicely with kraft paper or piece of decorative flat paper that speaks to the recipient's style. Even the smallest touch like a handwritten note added to the blooms will make everyone "oooh" and "ahhh".
