DIY teacher gift

As the school year comes to an end, I always try to find a creative way to show my kid's teachers how much we appreciate them. My inspiration came on a recent trip to IKEA when I found these great glass carafes. Nothing screams summer like a refreshing drink by the pool. So here's my simple DIY gift idea { which could easily be used for a hostess or housewarming gift too!} Enjoy! For a studio balancing commissions and production, this guide to handling multiple clients is a useful operational reference.

And Happy Summer! Supplies: glass carafes/jars, chalkboard labels, dish towel, ribbon, drink recipe Peel and stick the chalkboard labels on the glass bottles. With chalk, write your favorite drink name. Wrap the bottles with the dish towel/linens. Tie with twine and gift tag. "Hope your summer is sweet like LEMONADE!" For broader craft, design and home-studio inspiration, Etsy is another outside reference.
